Dear hockey friends!

I’m Roman Mikutin, the President of HC Vityaz, Kharkiv (Ukraine).

All of you are well aware about the full scale war in Ukraine. Our Armed Forces resist the insidious and cruel invasion of russia against our country.
7 players of HC Vityaz joined Ukrainian Armed Forces and National Police, and have gone to our country’s front to defend it.
We have no moral right to stay away from this situation and we don’t want to do it. That’s why me and HC Vityaz would like to announce the International fundraising ice hockey tournament in support of Ukrainian people and Ukrainian Armed Forces. We plan to raise $5 000 000 to buy 20 fire engines and 15 ambulances, to provide humanitarian aid for people of Kharkiv and deoccupied areas of Kharkiv region as well as to support Ukrainian Armed Forces.,

Our tournament “Hockey Bayraktar” will be held in Torun, Poland.
Everyone can make a donation to the account of our partner – Foundation Wellcome EU (PLZ, PayPal, Swift) or to the bank account of HC Vityaz (UAH). Also everyone will be able to take part in the charity auction.
All funds received from these events will be forwarded to reach the above mentioned goals.

Hockey club "Vityaz"

Kharkiv hockey club “Vityaz” was founded by a group of hockey fans in 2006. At that time, there were 28 hockey players in the club, and the team took part in various amateur tournaments and in the Kharkiv championship. In 2014, the professional team “Vityaz” was created on the basis of the club, which began to compete in the championship of Ukraine among the teams of the higher league, in the first season the team took 4th place.

The team continued to compete in the championship of Ukraine in the top division in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons. After that, the team again continued to perform at the amateur level, where it continued to play until the beginning of the war with Russia. HK “Vityaz” participated in various international tournaments in Prague, Czech Republic 2014, Riga CUP 2018 and 2019, as well as Kiev Hockey Holidays -2018.

About the tournament:

The tournament will be held according to the group scheme and draw
Teams play 4-5 matches and the tournament ends with the final game
The tournament has two awards ceremonies on the ice arena, and awards after the game
At the auction, we will sell sheets of stamps "Russian warship go ..." "Russian warship everything" "Ukrainian DREAM" "Good evening - We are from Ukraine"
For sale will be merch in the style of Ukrainian today. Only original items licensed by UkrPoshta
